About CeCe’s Place
Mission and History
CeCe’s Place is an extension of Hope Cottage’s mission to Transform Lives with the Love of Family. Recognizing the desperate need for accessible, comprehensive, high-quality medical care in for women in North Texas, Hope Cottage opened CeCe’s Place in partnership with HHM Health to address disparities in women’s healthcare by combining women’s healthcare with social services. We are a one-stop shop for every pregnant person’s needs.

CeCe’s Story
Carol Young Marvin, lovingly referred to as ‘CeCe’ by her grandchildren, was adopted from Hope Cottage in 1947 by George and Fay Young. Throughout her life, Carol spoke openly about being adopted and felt immense gratitude for Hope Cottage as it brought her two wonderful parents. As a child, Carol remembered going to the annual Hope Cottage Christmas party where she enjoyed meeting other families who had experienced the gift of adoption. Carol always championed Hope Cottage and its work through board involvement, and throughout her life, embodied its spirit in everything she did.

Founded as a women’s and children’s family services agency more than 100 years ago, Hope Cottage is a nonprofit organization that envisions a safe and loving for everyone. We transform lives with the love of family through our wraparound services that include Parenting Support Services, Education, Foster Care, and Adoption Services.
Seeking to address disparities in women’s health, CeCe’s Place offers a full spectrum of women’s and maternal health care and supportive services so women and their babies can thrive.
